From what time is check-in to my holiday apartment possible?

In almost all apartments, a digital check-in via door code is available. You will receive the six-digit code by email on the day of arrival, which allows you to open both the main entrance door and the apartment door – no keys required.

In some accommodations, access works differently. You can find the exact details in your booking confirmation or upon request from the Smart Resorts team.

The door code is automatically deactivated on the day of departure at 10:00 AM.

Check-out is possible until 10:00 AM.

In almost all apartments, digital check-out happens automatically when your access code is deactivated after departure.

For accommodations without a digital lock, you will receive specific instructions in your booking confirmation or upon request.

Before leaving the apartment, please make sure to: dispose of trash, start the dishwasher, close windows and doors, turn off the lights, and empty the refrigerator.

In almost all Smart Resorts holiday apartments in Winterberg, key handover is digital.

For app-based access, we need your mobile phone number.

If you did not provide it during booking, please enter it in the Smart Resorts Guest App after completing your booking.

Yes! In all Smart Resorts holiday apartments in Winterberg, beds are freshly made and hand and bath towels are provided. Kitchen items such as dishcloths are also available.

However, there is no daily hotel service.

JYes, dogs are welcome in almost all Smart Resorts holiday apartments in Winterberg

Please note: dogs are not allowed on sofas or beds. The surcharge is €10 per night per pet.

The booking description specifies whether dogs are allowed in the selected accommodation. If you are unsure, the Smart Resorts team will be happy to assist you.

No, the final cleaning is already included in the price. You don’t need to worry about anything – just relax and enjoy!

No. For hygiene reasons, only Smart Resorts’ own linen sets and cleaning services are used.

Payment on site is not possible.

The full amount must be paid before arrival. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, or Stripe.

For last-minute bookings (less than 5 days before arrival), we recommend PayPal or Stripe so payment is received in time and the access code can be sent.

Yes, almost all houses in Winterberg have a lockable ski and bicycle storage room. The code will be sent together with your apartment code on the day of arrival.

Each holiday apartment in Winterberg has a designated parking space directly at the house. Please use only the marked parking space with your apartment number.

At Smart Resorts hotels, there is also a limited number of free parking spaces. These are available subject to availability – reservations are unfortunately not possible.

Our holiday apartments are equipped to a high standard:

  • Nespresso machine (for 6 guests or more, an additional filter coffee machine)

  • Dishwasher in all apartments
  • Perfect for a comfortable holiday in Winterberg.

JYes, you benefit from high-speed internet (1 Gbit connection). Wi-Fi details are provided before arrival or can be found on the tablet in your holiday apartment. All TVs are SMART TVs (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+).

If you booked within 5 days before arrival, payment is processed directly during booking. Without payment, the booking is initially considered a request. For bookings made more than 5 days in advance, you will receive confirmation on the next business day.

Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival. After that, the full amount is due. We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Alternatively, you can reschedule your booking once free of charge (subject to availability).

To secure your booking (e.g. to prevent fake reservations), we require a 50% deposit. If you cancel within the permitted period, the payment will of course be refunded.

  • Non-smoking apartments (smoking only on balcony or terrace)
  • Dogs are not allowed on sofas or beds
  • Keep hallways clear (fire safety)
  • Check-out by 10:00 AM, dispose of trash, start the dishwasher
